1. Make an inquiry
Once you are logged in mina sidor (my pages), you can make interest on the side with vacant apartment. Select "studentbostad" and click on search. You can have up to eight expressions of interest in various residences simultaneously, unlike KBAB's ordinary apartments where you can have a maximum of five.
Unfortunately we do not have blueprints for some apartments that we took over in 2011. We have currently no other blueprints or pictures to send in addition to those shown in the description.
2. Offer of display
Up to ten of the people who have made an inquiry on an accommodation receive email with an offer for viewing. The offer is primarily for those students who are covered by priority 1 and still haven't got an aparment. After that candidates with Priority 2. If it doesn't fill up the places of applicants with Priority 1 and 2 it is also offered applicants who live in Karlstad viewing. If several candidates within the same priority have applied for the apartment, the days in queue will determine who will get the apartment.
The apartment is shown by the current tenant. If the apartment is unoccupied, contact caretakers office bo borrow a key. You need to return the key on the same day.
3. Say yes or no to the continued interest
In the email with the offer to go see the apartment you find information about the last date you must log in to "Mina sidor" to say yes or no to remain as interested. Note that you must answer before this date, even if you are not able to look at the accommodation before then, or if you want to remain as interested without having seen the apartment yet.
4. Offer of contract
Among those who have said yes we will send you an email with the contract offer to the person who is first in the queue. If he or she declines the offer is on the queue.
5. Say yes or no on the contract offer
If you receive a contract offer you say yes or no to this, email us (answering e-mail on the contract offer or send your reply directly to firstname.lastname@example.org). This must be done before the date that is specified in the email, otherwise the apartment will be offered the next applicant in the queue.
6. We send the contract to you
If you accept the contract, we do a vertification that you have no credit history. We will then send home a letter with two contracts as well as information on key extradition and the day you can move in, usually on the first day of the month. If this is a saturday, sunday or other holiday you can move in the next working day. Sign and return the contract to us as instructed. In the mail, there will be a last date when you must have sent back the contract to us.
7. Collect the keys
The final contract with the inspection you get when you pick up the keys. The keys pick you up from 13.00 on the date of the area's caretaker office. Take a valid ID with you.
